A collection of rewilding renderings.
For me, rewilding is about taking the damaged and making it magical again.
The renderings are rather quite simple, backlit trees in water. And yet they hide an ugly truth: the continued destruction of the shoreline and the creek that feeds the flood plain for new homes. The darkness hides the existing homes, the garbage left by visitors, the pollutants in the water, the trees damaged by invasive species.
My wish is that my renderings will help us all see through the darkness and stir an emotive response to preserve and protect.
These images were taken in Jack Layton Park, Hudson in 2022.
